Qualifier

 Entry Form

Our NCGA Qualifier Tournament will be held Tuesday, July 15

The NCGA Net Amateur is open to all NCGA members with all handicap levels.

However, our club will to continue to sponsor players depending on the size of the field in our qualifier. There is no limit on how many we may sponsor.

If we have less than 8 players the event may be cancelled. The number of players we sponsor will be based on the number of entries.

Key Dates

Sectional Qualifying:    Sept. 10 - 18

Championship Dates:     Oct. 6 - 7

Both Qualifying and Championship sites can be found on the NCGA Tournament Information Schedule. Winning teams do not have to choose the same sites. Below is the link to the NCGA master schedule which will have the qualifying sites. Use the filters to help find the month for the qualifiers.



Morro Bay Golf Club Qualifier

Format
  • Individual Stroke Play
  • Players will receive 100% of their handicap
  • Field will not be flighted
  • Tee times will be assigned by handicap
Tees Members play from their regular tee box (as defined under the club Tee Box Policy). Consult the tournament chair if you wish to play other tees.
Winners
  • Winners will be low NET scores of the field. The next places will be alternates in order of finish.
  • Ties will be broken using USGA card off recommendations.
  • Number of players advancing will depend on the size of the field
Dates
  • Our qualifier will be held Tuesday, July 15 , with regular play.
  • Entry Deadline: Tuesday 12 Noon, July 8
  • Late entries accepted if space available
Handicaps
  • Current handicaps will be used
  • All golfers get full handicap
Fees
  • Entry fee: $30 per person.
  • Entry fee does not include entry in game of the day.
  • The monies collected in the qualifier will be applied to the cost of playing in the NCGA tournament.
  • The NCGA entry fees is $185 per person. and includes all greens fees.
  • The NCGA entry fee must be paid by the entrant on the NCGA website. The club will reimburse the entrant with either a check or course credits once the club receives a receipt.
Expenses
  • The qualifying teams will be responsible for their own travel costs. Any extra money received in the qualifier entry fees may be used to offset winning teams' travel costs
  • The entry fees paid by our club cover greens fees, but not cart fees.
Tee Times Tee times will be assigned by handicap and posted on our website or you can call the Pro Shop.
