After selecting the ball for the next shot, place your ball within one club length, and not nearer the hole, of the spot of the selected ball. For a ball on the green, place your ball within 6 inches of the spot, and not nearer the hole.

Do not place the ball in a better cut of grass (such as in the fairway when the ball is in the rough), or outside of a hazard when the selected ball is in a hazard.

The hole is completed when the first ball of the team is holed.
