Daylight Savings Match Play League

Sign up for a 6 person 6 team match play league starting Wed. May 5 at Morro Bay. We will play 9 hole matches each week at 4:30 PM.

6 captains will be picked and choose their team from the sign up list. If you wish to be a captain please mention it on the sign up sheet or contact Rudi or Rick. First choice in first round of picks gets last choice in second round, etc. Two players may play together on the same team but team captains in choosing that pair will lose their next turn.

Matches will be 4 person teams with 2 extras to fill in for vacations, illness, etc. Each player must play at least twice.

Women will play from the red tees, men from the white.

Greens fees will be $9 walking and $15 with cart thanks to Josh Heptig who went to bat for us. George Rumpsa has also promised to give us a good break on food and booze.

Each team will pay a $100 entry fee ($17 per person). $450 will be used for gift certificate payouts at the course and the rest for a gathering on the last day.

Each team will play all the others once. With 6 teams there will be a total of 5 matches. (If we wind up with 5 teams for example we would play 4 matches).

There will be a shotgun start on at least 3 holes so we can all finish within about 30 to 40 minutes of each other.
